several reasons come to mind when i think of why i wish my kids stayed in town and loved marietta and me and never want to go any where else....ok i dont REALLY want them to be that way but....
one little girl (of 19) on her way to visit her bff 4 hours south of her college town has a blow out!! and thank all powers that are and were because other than freezing in fear she was not hurt! got her tire fixed and now on her merry way again (both of us feeling the truth of our venerability!)
Meanwhile another is on the other side of the country touring the wine country and preparing to celebrate his 30th with NO family around!
Thank all GODS for cell phones, that are cameras, and for google maps and safe journeys
